C & B Electric Co. was established in 1950. Two young men (Dean Cary & John Bledsoe) made the decision to go into business. They decided to use the first letters of their last name for the naming of the new venture. They flipped a coin to see what order the letters would appear. Cary won. Thus C & B Electric Co. was founded.
Through the years C & B Electric has seen many changes, Jess Duncan worked for his brother in law (John Bledsoe) while in high school and bought into the business in 1957, the family owned business continues to grow and serve Northeastern Colorado's needs with a complete electrical contracting shop, complete motor repair/rewind shop, and a complete heating and air conditioning shop.
Having been at the same location since 1954, the shop has grown to the largest inventory of materials in the area.
